Grace ( Christ in you )
What is grace?
Grace is getting what you don’t deserve, what Jesus has done for you, through His death, and resurrection,
Mercy is not getting what you deserve
Why is it important that we understand this grace, gospel, Christ in you, reconciled to God message? Answer- It will help you as a believer, not be condemned, help you with your perspective in who God is, and his character, and what you have, and who you are, and you will walk in boldness of it; This is the power of God to salvation ( Rom 1:16 ),; It’s the goodness of God that leads to repentance ( Rom 2:4 ); This message teaches you to deny world, and live godly in this present world ( Titus 2:11 ); You are free to live ( Rom 6:14 ); Not all reasons, just a few!
There are 2 parts with this; 1. ( NEW CREATURE, Identity ) Knowing who you are in Christ, the new birth of who you are in your spirit; 2. ( RECONCILED TO GOD; A. Vertical; B. Horizontal ) A. Your vertical relationship, with God, and, Seeing yourself as God sees you, knowing God is not fickle with you according to your sins, you are forgiven forever as a believer, at all times no matter the sin, why BECAUSE EVERYONE SINS ( 1 Jn 1:8,10 ) !!!; God sees you as a believer as righteous! B. Your horizontal relationship is WHY you shouldn’t let sin REIGN in your life, because of the devil, and consequences with people; Difference is there are sins that affect your emotions, body, mind, more than other sins ( 1 Jn 5:16-17 ), or that have power or reign over you than others ( 1 Cor 6:12; Rom 6:12 ), its a unrenewed mind problem, not God ( Rom 12:1-2 );
Part 1- MOST IMPORTANT part about grace ( Christ in you )- God has deposited a perfect, complete, incorruptible ( INVISIBLE ) spirit being in you as a believer, we need to catch up to him, and learn to live with what we have been given ( 1 Cor 2:11-12; 15:57-58; 2 Pet 1:3-4; Eph 1:13; 4:13; 4:24; 1 Cor 1:30; Prov 20:5; Philip 2:12-13; 1 Pet 3:4 ); part 2- MOST IMPORTANT part- God deals with believers ACCORDING to their spirit, who they are in Christ, which is perfect ( 1 Pet 3:4; Rom 8:16 ); NOT their, soul, and flesh!!! War a good warfare ACCORDING to these verses as far as your identity ( 1 Tim 1:18 );
( part 2 )- 5 basic scriptures that are the foundation on this- ( Rom 8:16 )- You are a child of God by your spirit; ( Jn 4:24 )- God is a Spirit, and you must worship him in spirit, and truth; Murder is the same as not loving someone correctly as far as guilty of law, along with who has no sin, cast first stone ( James 2:10; Jn 8:7 ); Sins don’t send you to hell, only SIN that sends you to hell is rejecting Jesus ( Jn 16:7-11 );
( part 2 )- ( Heb 7;8;9;10; Rom 3;4;5 )– No need to get your new sins under the blood, they have already be paid for once by Jesus; Sin is eternally paid for for believers; ( James 2:10 )- if you break one sin, you are guilty of all, so murder is same as stealing a fork from a restaurant; Sins don’t separate you from God, because EVERYONE sins everyday ( 1 Jn 1:8; Jn 8:7 ), but they affect the devil in your life ( Rom 6 ), so its impossible to live and not sin, that’s where Jesus comes in; Answer, only approach God according to what Jesus has done for you, which is Jesus became sin FOR YOU ( 2 cor 5:21 ); So question? the Bible is saying that if I am born again, and commit murder, God is not mad, or holding that against me, and I can approach the throne of grace still? Yes, ( David, and Corinthian church had horrible sins, still saved, but consequently paid for them ), how, first because, God deals with believers according to their hidden man spirit, which CANT SIN ( 1 Pet 3:4, ), then because of that, God does not credit sin unto believers, because Jesus became sin for us ( Rom 4:8,18; 5:13; 2 Cor 5:19,21 ) so why not just go out and sin? First, this grace is teaching not to do that, and live holy ( Titus 2:11-12 ); Second, the devil with gain strength in your life ( Rom 6:16 ); Third, the things God tells us is for our good ( Deut 10:13 ), you will go to jail for life, their will be broken relationships, etc!; Then if that were true according to ( James 2:10 ) murder is the same as wearing to different kinds of clothes ( Lev 19:19 ), or just know to do right and don’t, ( James 4:17 ), or whatever is done without faith is sin ( Rom 14:23 ), so if murder is true, all the others are true, as far as God’s attitude towards us when we sin; Answer- Brothers and sisters EVERYONE SINS EVERYDAY ( 1 Jn 1:8,10 ), so just grow, and seek Lord everyday, and repent, and learn from mistakes ( 1 Jn 1:9 ), towards your horizontal relationships; But you are o.k. with God!!!!!!; Question? If all sins are sins to God no matter how big, or small ( James 2:10 ), then what does it mean in ( Rom 6:16 ) if you yield yourself to Satan, than you are his servant, for example, drug use, anger issues, unforgiveness, etc, that create strongholds, where as ( Lev 19:19 ), wearing to kinds of clothing doesn’t create strongholds, additions, bad health etc, what’s the difference between these two kinds of sins? To God, no difference, to you a difference, because there is sin unto death ( 1 Jn 5:16-17 ), which gets to your body, soul, emotions, and effects it, which causes death, and strongholds to your body; so certain sins affect body, soul, and have bigger consequences more than others, sin unto death, but to God, all guilty no matter what sin, except when you accept penalty for sin, Jesus! Plus there are spiritual rewards as well in heaven, or taken away according to deeds here on earth ( 1 Cor 3:14-15; Matt 5:12; Rom 14:12 );
( part 2 )- If you are a Gentile, we are basically wasting our time discussing this, because Gentiles were never under the law, ( Rom 2:14-16 ), Gentiles were meant to go off of conscience!
Where is grace in the Old testament? Jehovah Tsidkenu, is a name for God, and His nature, which means ” Lord our Righteousness ” ( Jer 23:6 ); Meaning see yourself as God sees you, you will live different! ( Gal 3:8 ), says…… God preached the gospel……. in ( Gens 12:3 ); ( Jer 31:31-33 )- A new covenant God will make with his people, NOT according to first, God said he will, and now has, put his law in our INWARD PARTS, our reborn spirit ( Jn 3:1-7 );
Jesus teaching on grace is in ( Jn 3:1-7; 4:23-24; 6:63; 14:26; 15:26; 16:7-13; ); v 16:12 says, Jesus has MANY things he wanted to tell un born again people, but he couldn’t, because no Holy Spirit in them to teach, but now he can, because he is in heaven, and Holy Ghost lives in believers, to teach them what they have already;
( 2 Cor 5:17-21 )- These scriptures are the new testament definition of God, and for believers; You want to know what new testament is about, these scriptures; v17– You as a believer are a whole new creature, being, on the inside in your spirit; You are perfect, healthy, power to get wealth, joyful, loving, etc; This is how you live now, according to your new identity, and it never changes; Smith Wigglesworth said ” I’m a thousand times more bigger on the inside, than I am on the outside ” v18- God is the creator of all things, beginning, and end; Because of what Jesus did on the cross, death, resurrection, the whole world’s sins are paid for; This should be all believers message to unbelievers; Jesus died for the whole world; Confess with mouth, and believe in heart that Jesus is Lord, ( Rom 10:9-10 ), and you have relationship with God, now, and forever; NOT repent, or burn you dirty sinner!!!!!!; v19- Jesus came to earth, from heaven where He was with God the Father, and Holy Ghost, to create all things ( Col 1:15-18 ); Then He came as God in the flesh, now because of what Jesus did, GOD DOES NOT IMPUTE YOUR TRESPASSES UNTO YOU AS A BELIEVER; and there is a simple, word, one way of which is the only way to God, Jesus; v20- Believers are ambassadors, representation , of God’s kingdom here on earth; God encourages us with this; We are to take over where Christ left off when He went back to heaven; Our being, existence is be our new healthy, powerful, joyful, creature, knowing that we are right with God, enjoy who we are; v21- God made Jesus to be sin for us, even though Jesus was perfect, so believers can be the righteousness of God in Christ; In other words, God sees you right with Him, see yourself How God sees you;
First of all, anything with God is about a relationship with Him, mixing the word with faith, having the Holy Spirit make it real to you ( Rev 4:11; 1 Cor 1:9; Heb 4:2, 1 Cor 2 );
Knowing who you are in Christ, your new identity, is the message of the gospel, and for new testament saints; This was Paul’s ONLY prayer for the saints, to get revelation of who they are as a new creature in Christ, because once you do that, you will NOT tolerate nothing less; ” Seeing yourself as God sees you”
Biblical definition of grace, before Jesus came to earth- ( Titus 2:11-12 )- For the grace OF God………; grace, before what Jesus did, is OF God;
Biblical definition of grace- ( Jn 1:17 )- ……grace, and truth came BY Jesus Christ; grace came by what Jesus did; so what is grace, what Jesus DID, past tense!
Biblical definition of faith- ( Heb 11:1 )- NOW faith IS the substance of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things NOT seen; faith is now evidence of things NOT seen, how can you have evidence of something not seen now? By responding in acknowledging, speaking, acting on what Jesus HAS done, ( that’s your evidence, Jesus has done it ), and finding that out ONLY from the Bible ( Rom 10:17 ); The Bible is simply what God HAS said, and what Jesus HAS done;
( Rom 5:1-2 )- explanation- tells us faith ( evidence of things, what Jesus did ), is our access, ( response ), to grace, ( came from Jesus, what He did )
( Eph 2:8-9 )- explanation- for by grace, ( came from Jesus, what He did ), are you saved through faith, ( evidence of things, what Jesus did, our access, response ), NOT of yourselves, it is the GIFT OF God, ( God gave us His Son Jn 3:16 ), NOT of works lest any man should boast;
( Rom 5:1-2; Eph 2:8-9 )- make faith YOUR responsibility to respond; and makes grace a gift from God, from what Jesus has done;
Grace, Christ in you, is about your identity You realizing the image of Christ in you, the complete perfect person you are in your spirit, or inner man; ( Rom 1:9; 2:29; 7:6; 7:22; 8:29; Eph 1:3; 3:16; Lk 17:20-21; John 3:1-7; 4:23-24; 6:63; 16:7-12; 19:30; Col 1:27; 2:10; 3:10; 2 Cor 3:18; 4:16; 5:17-21; Heb 10:1; 1 Cor 1:30; 2:11; Gal 2:20; 6:15-16; Isa 38:15-16; Phillip 3:3; 1 Pet 3:4; 4:6 ); ” Seeing yourself as God sees you”
spirit you, inner man, is dominate, in control, authority over, parent force, over your flesh; ( 1 Jn 4:4; Phillip 3:3; Jn 6:63; Rom 8:2;11-13; James 2:26; Jn 1:14 );
Not seeking you to be righteous, SEEK THE RIGHTEOUS ONE ( Jer 23:6 );
( part 2 )- Grace explained
Why is this important? ( Rom 2:4; Tit 2:11-12; Gal 5:1; Eph 2:11-12 ), because its this goodness that leads to repentance, and this grace teaches you to live godly now, and so you walk in liberty, and boldness, not condemnation, and be consistent;
Why most teachers, pastors don’t teach this?, Fear of thinking people thinking they are encouraging sin; Traditions, doctrines of men; no revelation of it!
( part 2 )- I want to start out on how you should approach the throne of God, everyday why should you as a believer spend an eternity in heaven, and why should you be healed, healthy, rich, blessed, stress free, joyful, etc? Answer JESUS!!!, Not answer, because I read, or didn’t read my word, because I did, or didn’t tithe, because I did or didn’t treat my spouse right, don’t get into a list with God, on why you should spend an eternity in heaven when you die, or why you should be healed, rich, joyful, etc, because you can’t keep it all ( James 2:10 ) , so stand ( Rom 5:1-2 ) on what Jesus has done for you, because He kept it all for you ( Rom 10:4; Matt 5:17 ); Just remember, HOW YOU BECAME A BELIEVER, IS THE SAME WAY YOU RECEIVE HEALING, PROSPERITY, PEACE, ETC FROM GOD; You was led to read the word, or heard from someone the message of Jesus, not what you have done, and you believed; same approach when approaching God; ( Col 2:6; Eph 2:8-9 ); NOW, when you read your word, and pray for things, you say ” Lord I thank you for what Jesus has done, now I stand on what Jesus has done, scripture…………”; Once you understand that, as I will get into more detail later, that grace will constrain you to want to read your word, tithe, treat spouse right, have a joyful attitude etc ( 2 Cor 5:14; Tit 2:14, Rom:1:16; Rom 2:4 )
( part 2 )- One of my favorite applications of grace, is EVERYONE is on level ground; ALL believers have like precious faith bestowed to us, when we accepted Christ ( 2 Pet 1:1 ); Then, even a level ground as far as an unbeliever is concerned, because God has dealt to EVERY man THE MEASURE, not amount, but what is needed, of faith; Point being, so believers can’t look down at unbelievers as if THEY have came up with, or done something unique, that they don’t have, or can’t accomplish;
*Grace is about inside, out; getting what’s inside of you out of you through your mind, and through your mouth out of your heart ( Jeremiah 31:31-33; Heb 8:10;10:16 ); which is the NEW covenant!*
Well what’s our part, since Jesus has done it all for us?
( part 2 )- Our part of this, FAITH- respond to what Jesus has done for you, sure, trust ( Heb 6:11-12; 11:6; Rom 5:1-2; 1 John 5:4 ) faith looks like this, in this order, is to acknowledge it ( Philemon 1:6; 2 Pet 1:2-4; Hos 4:6; Rom 1:16; 2:4; 10:2-3 ); then speak it out loud ( Rom 10:6-10; Ephesians 6:19-20; Col 4:3-4; Hebrew 6:9; 2 Cor 4:13; Deut 30:14; Ps 116:10; Ps 35:28; Ps 119:172 ); and the by-product of that is faith perfected by works ( James 2:18, 20, 22 ) I’ll explain like this, if I gave you a book that showed you everything you had, as an inheritance, nothing you did, all you would have to do to pursue, is to KNOW what your inheritance is, just acknowledge what you have, then you would peruse it; for example if that inheritance contained free shoes at foot locker for a year, dinner for 5 at Olive Garden, 6 months of movie passes, etc, once you acknowledge that of what you have, you would go to Foot locker, Olive Garden, the movies, etc, but you first had to know what you had; Believers have an inheritance, according to His will ( Isaiah 54:17, Eph 1: 4,5,11 );
We are more than conquerors ( Rom 8:37 ) more than a conqueror, means you don’t fight the battle, but you get the benefits of the reward; let me explain, if you are not in the military, you don’t fight for this countries freedom, but you enjoy the freedom of living here in the U.S.A; that’s more than a conqueror, we reap the benefits of freedom in our country, without fighting in war, if your not in the military; how can you reap the benefits of this country, by being a citizen, birth certificate, social security number, via, acknowledging that you are a citizen, same as knowing what God has said about you, via Holy Bible, finding out, and speaking out what God has said, because speaking is the greatest act of faith Jesus said ( Matt 8:8-10 )
( Hosea 4:6 ) my people, you, perish for lack of knowledge, not because Satan is powerful and smart, because of your knowledge; which is why we need to KNOW the knowledge of who we are, a new creature ( 2 Cor 5:17 ), and what God has said about us, then we can look at all the other things with a new perspective; KNOW Jesus ( Phillip 3:10; John 17:3 ), by acknowledging the only book that is written about Him;
Who are we? We are new creatures in Christ; our bodies are 3 parts, spirit, soul, body ( 1Thessalonians 5:23 ); spirit is part that connects with God, looks just like you, but is perfect, and you CAN’T SEE, OR FEEL IT; soul is part of you that you CAN FEEL, but CANT SEE, your emotions, mind; body is part that you can feel, and see; ( John 3:1-8; 2 Cor 5:17 ); NO ONE can enter into the kingdom of God, except they are born again; as explained by Jesus in ( John 3:1-8 ), by process of limitation He is not saying to be physically born again from your mom’s womb, or not your soul, because your soul, emotions, came with your physical body; but your spirit is born, and they say born again, because you can’t be spiritually born in this world without being physically born, born again; your spirit was dead, BECAUSE OF ADAM, ( Gens 2:17 ) Adam died spiritually ( Gens 5:5 ) at 930 he died physically; we, ALL humans are born physically into that nature, sinners ( Rom 5:19 ), BUT, when you became a believer BECAUSE OF JESUS, you were made righteous, and have a new nature; the world doesn’t know that it teaches you your sinner nature, now the Bible only teaches you your new righteous nature; ( 2 Cor 5:17 ) you are a new creature old things, Adam nature, are passed away, ALL things are become new; process of limitation again, when you became a believer your body didn’t change, still look the same, or your soul didn’t change, still same emotions; so what changed, your can’t feel, or see spirit that now has Jesus nature, not Adam nature; but like I said before, if you don’t know that, how are you suppose to act like it, and the only resource that tells you is the Holy Bible 66 books, old, and new testament ;
Scriptures that tell you who you are in your new, born again creature, Jesus nature
Apostle Paul’s ONLY prayer for the new testament, after Jesus, saints ( 1 Cor 1:4-9; Eph 1:17-21; 3:16-19; Phillip 1:3-12; Col 1:3-13; 2:2; 4:12; 1 Thess 1:2-3; 2 Thess 1:3; 3:1; );
( Jn 4:23-24 )- God is a Spirit, and His people MUST worship Him in Spirit, and in truth;
( Jn 3:1-8 )- this is who you are when you accepted Jesus, your spirit is born, YOU NOW HAVE A PERFECT SPIRIT INSIDE OF YOU THAT IS EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN THIS LIFE!
( Jn 19:30 )- Jesus said it is finished, what is finished, EVERYTHING you need in this life; healing, power to produce wealth, joy, peace, sound mind, etc, is all what Jesus completed at the cross, and all of it is IN you as we speak ( Col 1:27; Eph 1:3; 2 Cor 5:17 );
( Matt 5: 17 )- Jesus did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it; Jesus is not against the law, it’s just the law had to be kept, to be right with God, and Jesus kept it perfectly for us!
( Matt 22:31 )- because of your new creature, reborn spirit, NOT SOUL, OR BODY, God has said some things about you, and the reason you can say these things out loud, is because God said them about you, and you are echoing what God said;
( Matt 8:8-10 )- the reason you need to say these verses out loud is because, Jesus said there is no greater faith, than to SPEAK His word;
( wrong application )- ( Matt 24:13 )- Most people think this verse means you can lose your salvation- WRONG; The correct application is some will depart from the faith, that just means they were never saved anyway ( 1 Jn 2:19 );
( wrong application )- ( Matt 7:21-23 ), Many say that this verse is saying, that some that were saved, did works, but lost their salvation- WRONG; Correct application, yes unbelievers do some works of God, because God cares about the person in need at time, like Judas, not saved, but was told to heal sick, still, this verse is saying, people were saying they were doing works, but wasn’t ( Lk 7:46 ), meaning God never knew them;
( part 2 )- Parable- ( Lk 18:10-14 )- The Pharisee, and the Publican; Basically, what you need to be saved is a I’m a sinner, God have mercy on me approach; Not a laundry list of things you do;
( part 2 )- Parable- ( Lk 7:40-42 )- The two debtors; Jesus was saying this parable because Simon mocked him for talking to a sinner; Again, some might have a criminal record, a bad past, etc, but your debt is the same, one lie, to robbing a bank ( James 2:10 ), Jesus paid all debt;
( part 2 )- Parable- ( Lk 5:36-39 )- Old vs New; You can’t mix the old way of doing things ( Old Testament ) God working from outside in, with the new way of doing things ( New testament ) God working from inside out;
( Lk 1:38 )- let any promise of God’s be unto YOU, ACCORDING to the word!
( Rom 1:9 )- serve God with who you are in the spirit, not flesh!
( Rom 1:16 )- acknowledging the gospel, which means good news in Greek, New testament was translated from Greek to English, brings salvation; salvation is a manifold of things; 1. Saved from presence of sin after physical death ( Hebrew 9:28 ) 2. Saved from power of sin, that means you can be healed, rich, joyful, etc, NOW in this world ( Hebrew 9:24 ) 3. Saved from penalty of sin, which benefits you now and eternity, God DOESN’T SEE YOUR SIN, and because your sins are forgiven you have a right at all times to healing, prosperity, peace, love, etc, but you must know that to believe and experience it;( Hebrew 9: 26 ) acknowledging what God has done for you brings these things;
( Rom 1:17 )- the just, YOU, should live by faith, not 5 senses; faith is what God has said in His word, not this world!
( Rom 2:4 )- goodness, acknowledging what Jesus has done for you, brings repentance; since God doesn’t see our sin, because of our perfect spirit ( 1John 3:9 ) can we sin? GOD FORBID,NOOOOOO you can’t sin, sin will leave you with broken relationships, depressed, sick, fearful, worried, etc; sin now effects your soul, and body, and influence for the devil on your life, but NOT God; ( Rom 6: 1-16 ) explains living in sin, the devils controls you, but acknowledging all that Jesus has done for you, these scriptures, will LEAD YOU TO REPENT if you are struggling ;
( part 2 )- ( Rom 2:12-16 )- The laws of God in the Old testament, WAS ONLY FOR JEWS; Well how did God see Gentiles? By their conscience bearing witness, that God put in every human ( Rom 1:18-20 );
( Rom 2:29 )- circumcision, being right with God, is of your heart, in your spirit, not in your flesh, so get your heart aligned with who you are in the spirit; You are God’s from inwardly!!!!!
( Rom 3: 19-21 )- v19- the law was not for gentiles, only for Jews, so the ten commandments, and the other 600 odd laws that God gave was for the Jews only ( Rom 2:14-15 ) because they were God’s people first ( Rom 2:9 ) and to bring them to the place of needing a Savior ( Gal 3:24 ) Jesus; Gentiles was to go off of conscience, and their hearts, to do right, and wrong; it’s like if the Chicago Cubs had a private meeting, for their players only, and players from another team make themselves part of the meeting; don’t make yourself, as a gentiles, non Jew, part of their law in the old testament which stated, if you sin, I will punish you; GOD HAS NEVER DEALT WITH GENTILES THAT WAY, so He is not mad now when you sin ( Col 1:22 ); v20- what you do can never make you right before God, God can only make you right with Him; when you focus on what you are doing wrong, you do wrong! The way out of struggling is to acknowledge the good things of Jesus, these scriptures; v21- say this out loud, your name are the righteousness of God, meaning I am right with God no matter what I do, because of what Jesus did for me; v22- same thing say OUT loud, your name am the righteousness of God, meaning I always have a right to be rich, healed, delivered, etc; v23- all have sinned, so I just give myself a break and trust that acknowledging what Jesus has done for me, will set me free; v24- because Jesus died for you, you are redeemed from any curse of this world; YOU ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, YOU ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, YOU! Speak that over yourself!
( All of Rom 4)- how like Abraham, by faith, you are right in the sight of God, and your sin isn’t imputed onto you as a believer v 4;5;6;7;8;15;23;25;
( part 2 )- ( Rom 4:4-5 )- he that work to be right with God, is reckon unto debt, not grace, a debt you can never pay off, but Jesus did; v5- ungodly is only justified, meaning we all started from ungodliness;
( part 2 )- ( Rom 4:6-8 )- David explained in ( Ps 32 )- that God credit righteousness without works, and believers are blessed because our sins are covered, and NOT credited to us, because of Christ;
( Rom 4:14 )- The only way to make faith void, or promises not work, is to consider according to what YOU do, you deserve what God has promised you!
( part 2 )- ( Rom 4:15 )- the law work wrath, because we can’t keep it all, so we must pay, but Jesus did, that’s why we believe in him; Believers, are not under the law, Gentiles never were, so now, because of Jesus, all believers are not under law, where NO law, no transgression;
( All of Rom 5 )- you are righteous by the grace of Jesus!
( Rom 5:1-2 )- You have peace with God, always no matter what, because of what Jesus has done for you, and you can stand of this fact, it’s not according to what you do, but what Jesus did for you, don’t get away from this truth; YOU, YES YOU HAVE PEACE WITH GOD NO MATTER WHAT EVERYDAY, SAY THAT,SPEAK THAT ABOUT YOURSELF, and stand on the grace of God, what Jesus has done for you, because He loves you!
( part 2 )- ( Rom 5:10 )- when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to God, by Jesus Christ; What makes you think since you’re his child now, that you’re not because of mistakes;
( part 2 )- ( Rom 5:18 )- By one man’s obedience, Jesus, believers are made righteous; By one man’s disobedience, Adam, we are born sinners; Point, the nature of you depends on what ANOTHER man did, not what you do, it’s just a decision you make;
( Rom 5:19-21 )- this is all about acknowledging what nature you have in you; you are no more the nature of Adam, but now you have the nature of Christ; tell yourself this by saying this verse, and you will begin to act like this nature; GOD HAS MADE YOU RIGHTEOUS, nothing you have done, SO SAY IT, GOD HAS MADE ME RIGHTEOUS , acknowledge that, and see growth; v21- because you’re righteous, what Jesus did, reigns through your righteousness;
( All of Rom 6 )- you are a new person, serve God from your new person, not old person!
V 19-20- You now serve righteousness, not sin; it’s the nature, not behavior;
( Rom 6:3-4 )- Baptized into Christ, from sin having power over us, and bound to elements, rules of world; We also, raised with Christ, now we have the right to walk in newness of who we are in Christ daily; What are we? healed, rich, blessed, complete, loved, we have the mind of Christ, etc;
( Rom 6:6 )- Old man, who you were before a believer, you were bound to sin nature, bound to rules of world, but now as a believer, that is destroyed, therefore, don’t serve a dead person;
( Rom 6:10-20 )- We are dead to sin, rules of world, alive to God, rules of Bible; Let, choice, not the old self rule, serve the new person, let him dominate who you are; How? Knowing it, through Bible reading, then do what you read daily;
( Rom 7:2-6 )- Just as a woman is bound to her husband, as long as she lives, we are married to Christ, and are free from the law, of sin, and rules of world, which are curses, and are free to live, and walk a life of spiritual truth in Christ; free to bring forth fruit, ( results produces by growth ), unto God; NOT go through the motions of sin, and bring forth fruit onto death; You might have to get yourself out a situation, the same way you got in, through motions, lifestyle; Exercise your liberty;
( Rom 7:6 )- Serve God in the newness of spirit; You are right with God, serve Him that way!
( Rom 7:22 )- You delight in the law ( of liberty, James 1:25 ) of God, INWARDLY;
( Rom 8 )- you overcome yourself, by the Spirit; Must understand chapter 7 before 8; 7 is nothing good in you, 8 is Spirit all good in you!
( Rom 8:1 )- there is no condemnation for them that are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to flesh, but Spirit; Meaning if you are walking according to flesh, NOT God, but YOU, will feel guilt, because it’s YOUR heart doing that ( 1 Jn 3:20-21 ), but NOT from God; Basically, God’s not mad at you, repent and get on track;
( Rom 8:2 )- law of Spirit of life in Christ, makes you free from laws of sin, and death, whatever they are! Exercise your liberty;
( Rom 8:4 )- walk not according to the flesh, what you’re doing, but according to Spirit, the finish work of Jesus; Even though you are free, you as a free person can still walk not free ( Gal 3:12; Rom 10:5 )
Rom 8:6 )- carnally minded= death, spiritually, Bible, minded= life; how you think matters, life, or death;
( Rom 8:10 )- your body is now dead, why? Because of sin, nature; Your spirit is life, why? Because you’re righteousness, nature;
( Rom 8:11 )- Spirit makes alive our bodies;
( Rom 8:13 )- we can bring under control any deeds of our bodies, through the Spirit, through truth, the Bible, etc; How? Live according to what the word says, act against the deeds; It should be harsh, severe, self- inflicting;
( Rom 8:16 )- Spirit, bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God;
( Rom 8:31 )- God completely supports you living this way, knowing God is on your side, who cares what anyone else thinks;
( Rom 8:37 )- we are MADE, not becoming, more than conquerors; Meaning, you can do the Bible, because you have God like D.N. A. in you;
( Rom 10:2-4 )- People have a zeal for God, but not by knowledge; the first knowledge of God is to NOT establish your own righteousness, by your performance, and submit to God’s righteousness, by faith in Jesus performance;
( Rom 10:6-10 )- Speak, speak, speak, these things, will get them to your heart; the only way to get something to your heart, where you need it, is to say it; this verses directs to speak, and you will experience the grace of God, and want to live for God, rather than trying to; confession into salvation, SPEAK YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST;
( Rom 10:17 )- your faith only comes from Reading or hearing God’s faith, which is the word of God; you need God’s faith to live victorious in this life, you will not get that anywhere, but the word of God;
( Rom 11:6 )- It can’t be, grace, and works!, it’s one or the other;
( Rom 12:1-2 )- The only way to bring what is true already, in your spirit that you can’t physically see, to your physical body, that you can see, is a renewing of your mind of the word; This is either as I said in ( part 2 ), the problem of not doing, or solution, with a struggling believer;
( Rom 12:6-8 )- Office, position of duty, at birth, NOT salvation, gifts ( Rom 11:29 ); Key to these gifts is ” proportional, proper relation between the gift, and faith with gift v6; ( Rom 11:29 )- There are gifts God gifts without repentance first;
1. Prophecy- Unbelievers have this gift; Using it, but in a negative way, Fortune telling, etc; God won’t take back, won’t give glory to God until, believer first, then, proportion of faith used in godly prophesying way;
2. Ministry- Unbelievers have the gift of serving; Let us wait, as a believer, be patient with LEADING, office duty, of ministry; Example- star serving tables first, etc;
3. Teaching- Unbelievers, have this gift; Non- believer motivational speakers, school teachers, etc; As a believer, wait, and start small, grow big;
4. Exhortation- Unbelievers have this gift; A non-believer optimist; As a believer, If you are called to lead, office duty, ” Let us wait ” start small;
5. Giving- Unbelievers, have this gift; Most unbelievers give more than believers, but because not in covenant with God, spiritual laws of giving don’t apply; Believers, do this with simplicity, simple; In other words, this gift is easy to make difficult;
6. Ruling- We know unbelievers have this gift; Presidents, C.E.O.’s, owners at jobs, politicians, etc, God gave them that gift at birth, and it’s without repentance, and he won’t take it back, just because they are misusing it ( Rom 11:29 ); Believers that rule, be consistent;
7. Mercy- Unbelievers have this gift, unbelievers that are not so fast to inflict punishment; Human resource departments, Judges, etc; Believers that have this gift, lead cheerfully; Meaning, it’s easy to lead this way with a bad attitude;
( part 2 )- ( Rom 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 )– All deal with how God sees you, chap 2- the law was not even for Gentiles; chap 3- the law acknowledges your sins, not help you with; chap 4- God is not crediting yours present sins toward you; chap 5- sin has to do with nature of Adam, not daily sins, righteousness of God has to do with nature, Jesus, not daily actions; chap 7- is making a comparison to a person who’s spouse is dead, and them remarrying, its o.k., we are married to Christ, our law spouse is dead; chap 8- you are children of God’s by your spirit, and NOTHING can separate you from God, sins, angels, etc; ( ROM 6 )- is the result and effects, and present consequences of sinning with this truth
( Eph 1: 3-14 )- God has chosen, and predestination you before He formed the world; we are His praise, we are His pride, and we are holy, perfect, and WITHOUT BLAME, before Him; not people, because we have the holy spirit, with lower case h, to indicate holy as in can’t sin, not the person of Holy Spirit; we are sealed, sin or nothing you do can break that seal in the eyes of God; wow!; All because of His will, this is His will for you, acknowledging this will cause you to live victorious for Him; you are accepted; ” holiness is Christ in me”; He has blessed you with ALL spiritual blessing, we have been redeemed ACCORDING to His riches, and grace, it’s what He did,Not you, you just need to acknowledge and speak it; He has made known unto us the mystery, which is Jesus; SPEAK that you have an inheritance from God, and you thinking on your problems with disappear; FOCUS, AND SPEAK THIS, YOUR ATTITUDE WILL CHANGE; Everything after Jesus is ACCORDING to 1. He has chosen you, before you were born 2. To His good pleasure, of His will 3. His riches, and grace 4. To His purpose; You are SEALED with the holy Spirit of promise;
( Eph 2:5-6 )- YOU,YOU,YOU, are raised up in authority, and position with Jesus; you have the same right, and authority as Jesus to be healed, prosperous, set free, etc, not because of anything you’ve done, but because of what Jesus did for you; acknowledging this on a daily basis will set you free
( Eph 3:20 )- God will do above what you ask or think, according to what? The power at work in you! Stay stirred up about what’s in you, how? keeping fresh who you are in Christ, growing spiritually daily; My favorite promise!!!!!!!!!!
( Eph 4:11-13 )- Church leadership positions; Meant for developing the saints into the fullness of Christ, for building up, to send them out for ministry v 12-13;
1. Apostles- Person, that establishes, church bodies, around the world; Only thing that separates apostles from missionaries, is usually, missionaries are sent BY a church, apostles, establish one;
2. Prophets- Person that delivers God’s message, in a leadership role;
3. Evangelist- Person in a leadership role, and takes the church message, outside of the church walls; Leader, but usually not responsible for body of believers, like a Pastor, teacher;
4. Pastors- Leader of a community church body; Mostly proclaims, makes thing known;
5. Teachers- parachurch- traveling church body, leader; Mostly explains, little more detailed;
( Eph 4:23-24 )- be renewed everyday, in the spirit of your mind, and you are righteous because God, created you that way, not because of anything you have done; Make a choice to put off the old man, person, things, that applied to you before you were a believer; You have a new life, live it daily;
( Eph 4:26-27 )- EMOTION VERSES- God has given us anger, not to use towards people to sin with, but to get made at the devil, about sickness, poverty, depression, etc; Don’t let that go away, is what ” let not the Sun go down ” means; This verse is the FIRST STEP, when you have any problem; Start, remain, finish, giving no place to the devil!
( Eph 6:10-20 )- we wrestle, not against flesh, and blood, but against spiritual wickedness; Put on, choice, whole armor of God, so we stand, consistent in our lifestyle, against the wiles, trickery, NOT power of the devil; Satan does not have power to make you do nothing, he can only put pressure on you to do something away from truth;
1. Loins gift of truth- live against a lie
2. Breastplate of righteousness- live against condemnation, and none Bible application;
3. Gospel of peace- live against confusion;
4. Shield of faith- live against attacks of enemy- through people ( Matt 16:23 ), your cooperation ( 2 Cor 2:11 ), way of thinking ( Col 2:8 ), etc, those are main 3;
5. Helmet of salvation- live against world way of thinking;
6. Sword of the Spirit, word of God- live against world’s system;
( part 2 )- ( Eph 1:4; 2:5;13; 4:24 )– has to do with we are without blame and holy to God, we are sealed with a perfect spirit before God that can’t be contaminated with sin, God has deposited a perfect spirit in us, that we are catching up to! V2:5- when you were dead in your sins as a unbeliever, you were quickened to Christ, what makes you think as a believer you can’t approach God if you sin?
( Gal 2:16; ) The definition of what the law is, vs faith– Paul said two times in this verse, that the WORKS of the law, the letter ( 2 Cor 3:6-7 ), and circumcision ( Rom 4:10;12 ), are what he is referring to as the WORKS; He also says 2 times in this verse, that it is THE faith of Christ, in other words we have been given by God, Jesus DNA;
( Gal 2:20 )- Paul said the life believers should live now, is not the old, not born again creature life, but in your flesh, THE new creature, faith of Jesus, identical, by nature, is how we live in our flesh;
( Gal 2:21 )- What Jesus did is vain, if anything you can do besides faith; Don’t frustrate, make worthless, the performance of Jesus, by thinking you can get God to do something by your performance, or God’s attitude changes toward you according to your performance;
( All of Gal 3 )- the Spirit, and righteousness is where the life in you is at!
( Gal 3:1-3 )- Do you start in the Spirit, then get into the flesh?
( Gal 3:11 )- the just, YOU, should live by faith, not 5 senses; faith is what God has said in His word, not world!
( Gal 3:18 )- If this inheritance from God, is according to what we do, then it is no more a promise; God gave to Abraham by promise, and we are Abraham’s seed ( 3:29 )
( Gal 3:21 )- There is no law, your performance, that can give life, if that were so, our performance after Jesus would determine if God would hear us, or His attitude changing towards us, according to our performance!
( Gal 4:1-8 )- when we were children, not believers, or didn’t know, or understand the things of God, we were bound to the elements of the world; Now that we are believers, and know what truth is, we should never turn again to this world for anything, no matter what, and be in bondage; Sickness, poverty, depression, etc, believers should NOT turn to, no matter what the circumstances is, choose truth; Truth, physical facts, that don’t like up with Bible, can exist at same time, so choose truth;
( Gal 4:21-31 )- this is an allegory, explaining how Abraham had to sons; One born of the promise God gave him, Isaac, ( Gen 21 ), and the other Ishmael, ( Gen 16 ) born not from Sarah, or not according to God’s plan; there are two covenants, as believers we are the children of promise, which means, all the promises of God in the Bible, apply to us;
( Gal 4:9 )- again, once you’re a believer, and know the things of God, now don’t turn to nothing else, how can you!
( Gal 5:1 )- once again, YOU stand in the LIBERTY, where with Christ has MADE US free, and keep yourself out of bondage! Exercise your liberty!
( Gal 5:16-18 )- walk by, in, etc the Spirit, ( the new creature you v 6:15-16 ), and you don’t fulfill the law ( YOU doing things, either to make God do something, or YOU doing something to think, now God should do something for me ); Your spirit, New creature, ALREADY has all it needs, healing, power to get wealth, mind of Christ, etc, so you walk in that attitude, that attitude brings that attitude results!; The flesh will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, want to do the opposite of spirit; Spirit wants to act healed ( James 4:7 ), flesh wants to act how it feels; Spirit wants to give ( Acts 20:35 ), flesh wants to spend foolishly;
( Gal 5:22-23 )- Fruit of Spirit
Toward God-
1. Love- motive behind doing
2. Joy- attitude
3. Peace- credit only good
Toward others
1. Long suffering- patient
2. Goodness- golden rule
3. Meekness- kindness
Toward yourself
1. Gentleness- amiable, approachable
2. Temperance- self- control
3. Faith- true to self
Fruit of the Spirit is character; You growing in your relationship with God, growing spiritually, and developing character, which is sustainable;
( Gal 6:7-9 )- we have to remember to don’t get tired of doing good, in due season we will reap what we sow; sow to the word, you get word results, I don’t have a answer for how long, but what can be greater than sowing your time to God; get to a place in your heart where you would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of God, then to dwell in the tent of wickedness ( Ps 84:10 ); Who cares how long it takes, you are loved, and have fellowship with Jesus, and God the Father ( 1 John 1:3 );
( Gal 6:15-16 )- What you do, or what you don’t do, doesn’t matter, as far as being, right, and worthy to God, is concerned; What matters is the NEW CREATURE, that we walk in by Faith, that was given to us by God, according to what Jesus did;
( wrong application )- ( Gal 5:19-21 )- Most people apply this verse as if you commit these, you can’t make it into heaven, WRONG; CORRECT- application is you will not inherit, the kingdom of God means if you as a believer are living these ways, the word inherit means to posses, meaning our nature; This is not our nature; Our nature is saved ( 2 Cor 5:17 ), these things Paul is talking about nature; Also can mean will not receive, experience, enjoy, God’s promises now, even though still saved ( 1 Cor 15:50; Heb 6:12 ); If believer struggling with these;
( part 2 )- ( Gal 3;5:1-6 )– the law was a schoolmaster to bring you to Jesus, the law could not give life; v 5:1-6, You are a debtor to the whole law, if you think with every sin, you must get it under the blood, that’s impossible!
( part 2 )- ( Gal 6:13 )- those that tell you, you have to get every sin under the blood, or because of your actions, you are not saved, etc 1. They themselves are not keeping the whole law 2. Only reason they do that is to glory in your flesh, in other words, look at me, I’m living better than you;
( Titus 2:11-12 ) – like I said in earlier verses, acknowledging these truths from the word of God will BRING salvation, we already went over everything salvation is, lots of God’s promises, but it will LEAD you to repent of anything your struggling with, and teaches you about the things of God; sin must go, God’s promises comes, when you acknowledge what Jesus has done for you; FOCUSING ON CHRIST, CHANGES YOUR MIND TO FOCUS ON THE GOOD, AND NOT YOU OR YOUR PROBLEM
( 1 Cor 1:30 )- We are in Christ, by God, that God has MADE, nothing you did, US wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption; We have the wisdom we need for all things on the inside; we are right before God; we are set apart from this world; we have been cleared of ALL debt to God, by payment from Christ;
( 1 Cor 2 )- ( This is the most important chapter in the Bible ) the Spirit is the one who encourages us from Spirit, to spirit, what God has freely given unto us;
( 1 Cor 2:10 )- God reveals his ways by his Spirit only; Point, only way to understand Bible is to be a believer, reading, meditating on it, having the Spirit teach you; That comes with comfort, and trust by faith;
( 1 Cor 2:11 )- The things of a believer are IN him, or her, NOT OUTSIDE them; To get it outside, must believe what’s inside first; No man knows the things of God, except he learned it by Spirit; Again, learned by trust, comfort, by faith;
( 1 Cor 2:12 )- Believers have NOT the spirit of world, but spirit, lower case meaning human spirit, of God, given to you at salvation; THAT WE MAY KNOW THE THINGS THAT ARE FREELY GIVEN TO US OF GOD; God is always, always, only encouraging you as a believer, what he has already given you at salvation;
( 1 Cor 2:13 )- We should speak these things, not by man’s teaching, but Holy Ghost ONLY teachings, spiritual, your spirit, from spiritual, Holy Spirit;
( 1 Cor 2:14 )- YOU CAN NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM GOD FROM A HUMAN PERSPECTIVE, ONLY GOD PERSPECTIVE; How do I know if I’m receiving from God? If the Bible sounds foolish, you are natural, not receiving, if NOT foolish, you are receiving from God;
( 1 Cor 2:16 )- Believers have the mind, not brain, of Christ; What’s the difference? Mind is the soulish part of your mentality, brain is physical part; Point, you can change your brain, by renewing mind;
( 1 Cor 6:17 )- Our spirit, is joined together with Holy Spirit;
( 1 Cor 6:18-20 )- Our bodies are meant to carry the spirit of God around, treat it like the temple of God;
( 1 Cor 9:24-27 )- Like athletes, they have a goal, and they train themselves to strive for that goal; It’s a fight, but it’s purpose to it; Only one gets the trophy; Same, with your body, you have to discipline your body to line up with truth; It’s should be a fight, harsh, severe, self- inflicting, but you win! How? how you live, speak, think, actions against, etc;
( 1 Cor 11:20-34 )- communion- we take communion, correctly, it benefits us; v21- they were using it for food, and to get drunk; v24- Jesus body is broken for us, do this in remembrance of him; v25- Jesus blood represents the New testament, which means, believers now are new creature’s in Christ, and have a live spirit in them, that God testifies as his children by; We can take communion as often as we want; v26- when taking communion, we show the Lord’s death, what that means, believers are dead to sin, and the elements of this world, until he returns again; v27,29- unworthily, means, NOT born again; v27- NOT born again, anytime you see guilty, it’s referring to unbelievers; v28- examine yourself, are you born-again ( Jn 3:1-7 ); v29- Again, discern what the Lord’s body means; v30- this is the only time in Paul’s letters, that I found so far, he writes for this cause, people are sick, and dieing; THIS IS ONE OF THE WAYS THE EARLY CHURCH STAYED HEALTHY, taking communion CORRECTLY;
( 1 Cor 12 )- Spiritual gifts; Most important part is as the Spirit wills v11; Basically, what ever faith couldn’t at that time, or is taking to long to accomplish, spiritual gifts can;
Power gifts-
1. Faith– Gift of faith would be different from believers using application of faith that We all have in a since of when ministering to others– faith is bestowed unto a person ready, and available to apply faith at that moment to help a person;
2. Working of miracles- Working of miracles is bestowed upon a person, ministering to others, ready, and available, to perform a miracle, at that time;
3. Gifts of healing- Gifts, plural, is when a person, ministering to others, who is ready, and available, is bestowed something at that time to get a person healed;
Utterance gifts-
1. Prophecy- Prophecy is different from believers, prophesying speaking truth, words of encouragement, calling things that are not as if they were, in a since of a person ministering to others, ready, and available, has been bestowed from God at that time a future prediction about something that will happen, in relation to that person;
2. Word of knowledge- Word of knowledge is when a person ministering to others, ready, and available, speaks a knowledge word about a person at that time, that person would not have know about that person;
3. Word of wisdom- Word of wisdom is wisdom spoken when ministering to others, ready, and available, at that time, that will help that person;
Revelation gifts-
1. Discerning of spirits- discerning of spirits, plural, is when a person ministering to others, ready, and available, discerns what spirit, evil, or good, NOT ONLY EVIL, is manifesting itself at that time to minister to a person;
2. Kinds of tongues- Kinds of tongues, plural, is a gift where a believer ministering to others, ready, and available, can speak in THEIR language, they have never learned, to minister to a person;
3. Interpretation of tongues- Interpretation- meaning of, NOT translation, same words different language, is when a believer ministering to others, ready, and available, mostly in a church setting, is able to interpret what ANOTHER PERSON is uttering when they are speaking in a unknown tongue;
( 1 Cor 15:31 )- DIE DAILY!!!!, how? You don’t do what’s NOT in word; DO, word!
( 1 Cor 15:36 )- what you sow, put time into, is not quickened, made alive, until it dies; Die, Spirit makes alive; Example- a seed that is planted has to die before it is watered, cared for, and produces a tree with fruit;
( 1 Cor 15:34 )- awake to righteousness, and sin not! learn righteousness, sin is taken care of!
( 1 Cor 15:57-58 )- THE ATTITUDE VERSE; The reason you are stubborn, don’t quit, and like a pit pull, continue to fight everyday, not taking no for a answer, etc, is because you ALREADY HAVE the victory in Christ; NOT because you are trying to get it;
( wrong application )- ( 1 Cor 6:9-11 )- again, most apply this verse as saying people that commit these acts will not enter heaven, WRONG; CORRECT- the word inherit, means to posses; This is not our nature, even though some Christians struggle with these, if born again not your nature; as Paul said here, ” we’re some of you” Again Paul was talking about nature here; Also could mean, will not receive, enjoy, experience the godly life now, even though still saved ( 1 Cor 15:50; Heb 6:12 ), if a believer struggling with these;
( 2 Cor 2:14 )-Give thanks to God, because he has, past tense at the cross, gave us the victory, and did all the work for us to be victorious in this world; acknowledge, and thank him, you will experience these truths; SPEAK THE VICTORY, WE HAVE THE VICTORY, not we are trying to get the victory; GLORY, AND PRAISE TO GOD
( 2 Cor 3 )- Christ has broke the vail, and is the new life for us by the Spirit, in our spirit, not in the letter;
( 2 Cor 3:3 )- the word of God, is NOT ink, or paper, that’s just a physical representation, but the word is written by the Spirit, to your heart;
( 2 Cor 3:6 )- The law, letter, kills you, because your performance is never good enough; but the spirit in you, gives life; sow to the spirit in you, by acknowledging, and speaking these scriptures, and the life will come out of you!
( part 2 )- ( 2 Cor 3:7 )- the law, which was for Jews only, the 10 commandments, ministered, death, because you could not keep it, but now, because of reborn spirit, that is done away! You can benefit as a Gentile from these, to help you live, but not to be reconciled to God, or not;
( 2 Cor 3:8 )- ministry of the Spirit is more glorious, then law keeping ministry; why?, because with spirit, you’re living from a victory, enforce, principle; Law keeping, is trying to earn, make yourself right, perspective;
( 2 Cor 3:9 )- Law keeping, outside, works to earn, perspective, is condemnation; why? Because you will never obtain keeping 600 something odd laws of God’s; You would make a life out of that, instead of walking in forgiveness of sins, and inheritance;
( 2 Cor 3:10 )- The law was glorious, in respect its God’s laws, but the spirit, is God’s better way of doing things;
( 2 Cor 3:11 )- The law principle is done away; The spirit principle remain forever;
( 2 Cor 3:13 )- Moses in ( Ex 34:29-35 ), face was so bright, the children of Israel couldn’t look upon his face; So he put a vail; No more vail, with glory of word; We can all read the word clearly with spirits help to understand;
( 2 Cor 3:14-16 )- That same vail, covering, in v 13, still remains of people to this day in their hearts, and minds that are blinded to the New testament way of doing things! Jesus, and his work, and keeping of God’s laws; In order to understand the Old testament today, you must read through the lens of Jesus;
( 2 Cor 3:17 )- where the Spirit of the Lord is, it’s in believers, there is liberty; Exercise your liberty daily;
( 2 Cor 3:18 )- Look into the glass, glory of the Lord, the Bible, and be changed into the IMAGE, of Jesus, BY the Spirit!
( 2 Cor 4:13 )- Paul quoted a old testament verse, that said his faith caused him to speak what he believe ( Ps 116:10 ) ; there is a connection between speaking out loud what you believe in God’s kingdom and your heart receiving it; this will get what you speak to the heart level, where the power of God comes from with inside you ( Prob 23:7; Matt 12: 34-35; Ps 119:11 );
( 2 Cor 4:16 )- how you faint not, is you renew the inner spirit man, day, by day;
( 2 Cor 4:18 )- we look upon the unseen, spirit man, spirit world, NOT the seen, physical world;
( 2 Cor 5:7 )- walk by faith, not sight; what has God said in His word, not world;
( 2 Cor 5:17-21 )- we talked about how your SPIRIT only is saved!, because of your all new creature; your soul IS being saved, and your body WILL be saved; God the Father, through Jesus has reconciled the WHOLE WORLD, not just believers unto Himself; difference between believers and unbelievers is, believers have accepted the free gift from God the Father, Jesus; God is NOT IMPUTING humans sins unto them, because He is a Spirit ( John 4:24 ), and deals with our new creature spirit only; JESUS BECAME SIN FOR YOU, SO YOU AS A BELIEVER ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD! Be reconciled to God, just be it, live it, who you are in Christ!
( 2 Cor 6:16 )- Your body has to be in agreement with your spirit!
( 2 Cor 13:8 )- Do NOTHING against truth, but FOR truth; Truth, what’s in Bible, can exist next to physical facts, that goes against Bible, so believers should always believe truth, while other circumstances exist at same time;
( Part 2 )- ( Col 1:20-21 )- Hath reconciled ALL things to himself by his blood;
( Col 1:22 )- You are perfect, unrebukeable IN HIS SIGHT, not others, and your body; living good is good for you ( Deut 10:13 );
( Col 1:23 )- Continue in the faith, grounded, and settled, do not be moved from this truth!
( Col 1:25 )- This is the fulfillment of the word of God, the mystery, Christ Jesus;
( Col 1:26 )- This mystery was hidden for ages, now, after Jesus resurrection, it is revealed to the saints, what is revealed, CHRIST LIVES IN US, WE HAVE TO GET IT OUT ( Phillip 2:12-13 ), by renewed mind ( Rom 12:1-2 )
( Col 1:27- )- Its Christ in you the hope of glory; this is the mystery to your life!
( Col 1:28 )- all believers are perfect, from your spirit only, in Christ; it’s what’s in you, that needs to get out of you; This is the hope of the gentiles, Christ Jesus!
( Col 2:6 )- As you have received Christ, so that’s how you walk in Him in this life; You received Him, by faith of what He has done, so walk in that as far as health, prosperity, joy, family, marriage, etc;
( Col 2:7 )- Rooted, and built up in Jesus, in the faith, is to abound in thanksgiving!
( Col 2:10 )- We are complete in Christ, we have, have, have, everything, everything, everything, we need to walk in victory here on earth!
( Col 2:13 )- All, All, All, your trespasses are forgiven, IN HIS SIGHT, not to humans, which is where ( 1 Jn 1:9 ) comes in, confess SINS for your relationship with this WORLD, and PEOPLE’S benefit;
( Col 2:20-23 )- since we are dead with Christ from rules of world, why are you still controlled by world’s system; Which is according to man’s rules, and can’t keep your body in check;
( Col 3:1-2 )- Set you affections, emotions, and seek, those things above, God, through His word, and the by-product is physical results;
( Col 3:3 )- Your life is hid in Christ!
( Col 3:10 )- Be renewed, daily, about the IMAGE, that’s inside of you, when you became a believer!
( Col 3:24 )- Knowing that of the Lord, you receive an inheritance, knowing, reading, studying the word, has the reward of biblical study, biblical results, takes time, and in stages ( Gens 8:22; Mk 4:26-28 )
( Hebrews 6:11-12 )- we can not be lazy, and acknowledge, and speak the word with patience to continue trusting in His word, because we know the end; to see results we must remain diligent in acknowledging, and speaking God’s word, to the end, no matter how long it takes ; there is no better plan anyway!
( part 2 )- ( Hebrews 7:18-19 )- v 17 there has been a dis annulling, as if never happen, the commandment law; v 18 because Christ made things perfect, law couldn’t;
( part 2 )- ( Hebrews 7:22 )- like before, a lot of believers are stuck in old testament, God deals with people according to their performance; like I said before, that was never for gentiles, so don’t be concerned about that process in the Bible, but if you’re a Jew, Jesus is the surety, it sure, of a BETTER, promise between God, and His people; God’s not mad, He’s not even in a bad mood with you; acknowledging these will set you free; NEW TESTAMENT PROMISES ARE CONDITIONAL ON JESUS PERFORMANCE; AND HE IS PERFECT! as long as you put your faith in Him, by acknowledging and speaking what He has done for you!
( part 2 )- ( Hebrews 7:24-27 ) Jesus makes continue intercession for us to God, because He is unchangeable, and live forever; we are high priest, total access to God any time, highly looked upon, and need not daily, in the sight of God, to make DAILY confessions for our sins, to get clean with God;
( part 2 )- ( Hebrews 9:12 )- Christ offered Himself without spot to God for you, purging your conscience, so you can freely serve the living God everyday, all day!
( part 2 )- ( Hebrews 9:15 )- we have a eternal inheritance, because of Christ!
( part 2 )- ( Heb 10:1-2 ) Law, conditional rules to you being right with God, was a shadow of things to come, and made alive your conscience ; Since Jesus, He is where our attention is, not what you’re doing wrong; and God sees you perfect in Christ!
( part 2 )- ( Hebrews 10:10,12,14, )- Jesus has perfected, sanctified, believers forever!
( part 2 )- ( Hebrews 10:19 )- Believers boldly enter into holy of holies, where the priest, had to be sinless, to enter for people in Old testament for forgiveness of sins;
( wrong application )- ( Heb 6:4-6; 10:26 )- v 6:4-6- most apply this verse as saying if you commit enough sin on purpose, you can lose your salvation, WRONG; CORRECT- v 6:4-6, is just saying, you can’t just accidentally lose your salvation, but you can make a choice and renounce it, so if so, there is now being born again, again; Plus if you renounce your salvation, ( 1 Jn 2:19 )- says, you were never saved to begin with; If you are concerned about losing your salvation, that’s a sign that you won’t, because reprobate hearts are not concerned ( Rom 1 ); ( v 10:26 )- most apply this verse as saying if you sin willingly, then you lose your salvation, WRONG; CORRECT, this verse is saying if you do the things in verse 10:29- counted the blood of Christ unworthy, and trodden under the feet the Son of God, willingly, then there remain of sacrifice for sins;
( part 2 )- ( Heb 5,7,8,9,10 )– All talk about how you are eternally forgiven for all sins, and Jesus is greater than angels chap 1-2, Moses chap 3, Old testament priest chap 5; chap 8- New better than Old; Chap 10, Jesus offered ONCE FOREVER FOR YOU;
( Philip 1:1 )-
1. Bishops- Bishops are people that manage several multiple local church bodies at once; usually done in a clergy type of church body;
2. Deacons- Deacons are usually the right hand man to a Pastor, Priest- ( sane as Pastor, more clergy ), that carries out responsibilities, again, usually at a clergy type of body;
Clergy- Ordained group of people in a religion; Not necessary, but good if there is lots of people in one body, and no order;
( Phillip 2:12-13 )- God is working, nourishing , IN you, it’s His will, and YOU work, renewed mind, words, actions with words, resisting, OUT your own salvation, with fear, reverence, and trembling, in Greek, distrust, more you trust God, your ability to get done, with doing up most to fulfill your duty, your duty is faith!
( Phillip 3:3 )- worship, serve God, in who you are in the spirit, from the Bible, and put no confidence in this world
( Phillip 3:9-10 )- Be found IN Christ the righteousness of God, believers again as in Gal 2:16, 20; have THE FAITH of Christ; which qualifies you for the promises of God, KNOW Him, and fruitful living is a by-product of knowing Him!
( Ps 18:20; 24 )- David prophesied that they will be a day when the Lord will deal with people according to their righteousness, which is ONLY in Christ;
( Ps 32:1-2 )- David prophesied that one day, God will not impute sins unto His people, because of Jesus;
( Isa 38:15-16 )- God has said it, and done it, everything He has said in His word, and Jesus has done at the cross, is in our spirit, and that’s how we live according in our spirit man!
( part 2 )- ( Lev 21 )- goes along with ( 1 Pet 2:9; Heb 7:26 )- we are high priest as believers, we have access to God whenever, and ( Lev 21 )- gives all the requirements for a high priest, point, you ALONE, without Jesus, breaks at least one of those requirements daily; Answer- believe in Jesus ( Rom 10:9-10; 13; Acts 2:21 );
( 1 Tim 1:18 )- war a good warfare, ACCORDING to what God has prophesied, said, about your situation in his word;
( 1 Tim 4:6-7 )- stay nourished up in the words of faith; v7- refuse worldly things exercise godliness instead;
( 1 Tim 4:8 )- We have a life in THIS world, that NOW IS; this life, victory in Christ Jesus, is for now, and eternity!
( 2 Tim 2:4-5 )- when we war, we don’t entangle ourselves with the rules, things, of this life, we please God that way; v5- we shoot for a crown, and like athletes don’t get the trophy, unless they play by the rules, we must play by God’s rules to get Bible trophies;
( 1 Jn 4:17 )- My favorite verse, as Jesus IS, not in our flesh, because we don’t look like Him; not in our soul, because we still have thoughts, and emotions, and decisions we make, that are wrong; but, in our spirit, we ARE like Jesus;
( 1 Jn 4:4 )- Greater is he in me, than he that is in the world;
( 1 Jn 5:18 )- keep yourself, the wicked one touch you NOT!
( wrong application )- ( 1 Jn 1:9 )- most say see, this verse is saying until you confess sins, it’s not under the blood- WRONG; What this verse is saying is if you are messing up and allowing the effects of yours sins affect you, you can at any point say, I quit, and agree with you Lord about the situation, and the Lord closes doors to the devil, and broken relationships here, but eternally you are forgiven past, present, future ( Heb 10:10,12,14 );
( Philemon v6 )- My faith is effectual, by acknowledging all good things in me in Christ!
( Prov 18:14 )- Its the spirit of a man that sustains him in his infirmity, sickness, lack of anything; Your spirit will sustain you in weakness of any kind;
( Zech 4:6 )- Its not by might, or power, but by God’s Spirit! Everything is by God’s Spirit!
( Lk 17:20-21 )- The kingdom of God is NOT by observation, in others words, don’t be looking around, in the sky, waiting for something to appear one day, etc, the kingdom of God IS IN YOU!
( Prov 20:27 )- It’s the spirit of a man, that is the light of God in him, and the spirit of man is what the Lord uses to search with in people;
( Prov 16:32 )- when your spirit is in control, it’s better than he that takes a city!!!
( Prov 25:28 )- when your spirit is not in control, it’s like a city with no walls!!
( 1 Pet 3:4 )- The context of this chapter is marriage; You can apply this to Peter saying, husbands dwell with your wife according to your hidden man which is incorruptible, and not other conversations;
( 1 Pet 4:6 )- live according to God, in your spirit; train, live out of who you are in your spirit;
Is it alright to sin, do what you want, because of grace?
Answer – God forbid!!!!!, ( Rom 3:6; 3:8; 6:2; 6:15 )- Your vertical relationship, with God, is forever taken care of, through Christ ( Col 2:13; Heb 10:10,12,14 ); Your horizontal relationship, sin affects, the devil, people, your heart ( Rom 6:12-16; Heb 3:13; 1 Jn 3:20 ); Don’t be stupid, and ignorant about this, NOT saying 1. You can get away with sin. NOT saying 2. God doesn’t see it; What this IS saying is all your sins past, present, future, are paid for, and God can’t, and is not crediting sin towards you, because Jesus paid for all of them ( 2 Cor 5:19; Col 2:13; Heb 10:10,12,14; Rom 4:4,5,6,7,8,15,23,24,25; SIN HAS CONSEQUENCES ( Rom 6:16, Heb 3:13; 1 Jn 3:20 ), but not with God towards you, it’s with yourself, and people, and the devil, and no eternal reward ( 1 Cor 3:15 ), but person is saved; This should be the question when preaching the grace of God message of the new testament; Sin, the actions, God doesn’t credit towards you ( Rom 4:4,5,8,9,15; 5:13; 2 Cor 5:19; ), but Satan does ( Rom 6 ); You will be miserable, easier influenced with sickness, depression, hopelessness, fear, doubt, worry, negative consequences, broken relationships, etc; Sinning has bad results, and you reap what you sow; If your answer is ” I don’t care about negative consequences, long as I go to heaven ” Again, I’m leaving something like that between you and the Lord ( 1 Cor 4:3-5 ); No born-again person, WANTS negative results, any Christian struggling with sins, should not be enjoying it, because there is a Spirit in you telling you different from what you are doing ( Titus 2:11-12 ), this creates a uneasyness going on with you ( Gal 5:17 ); Also, there is a difference between a person struggling as a believer, and a impenitent , no regret, heart; The struggling one can be saved, but unrenewed mind, where as the impenitent heart, is not saved ( Rom 2:5; 2 Cor 7:10 ); THE WAY TO DO THIS– Accept Jesus as Lord, get baptized in Holy Ghost, get baptized in water, renew your mind everyday to the word of God, mixed with faith, and be transformed from inside, out! This grace, message, TEACHES you to live godly ( Tit 2:11-12 );
Sin affects your horizontal relationships, the devil ( Rom 6:16 ); and YOUR heart towards God, NOT God’s heart towards you ( 1 Jn 3:19-21 );
Can you tell if a person is reborn? I believe how you can tell if you are born again or not is if you are still doing same things as before you were saved, you will be miserable when doing those things when you are reborn; ( Gal 5:17 );
Question- So if a persons says they have confessed with their mouth, and believe in their heart that God raised Jesus from the dead ( Rom 10:9-10 ), which saves you, and it’s NOT according to their works, lest man can then boast ( Eph 2:8-9 ), but IS NEVER transformed ( Rom 12:1-2 ), what do you say to that? Answer- I say ” God is their only Judge, and the ONLY one that sees the heart, so LEAVE IT UP TO GOD!!! ( 1 Cor 4:3-5 ) Rom 2:1-3; James 4:12; 1 Sam 16:7 ); Judge meaning setting a persons destination; But you know people by their fruit ( Matt 7:16-20 )? Exactly, you know if a person is renewing their mind or not by actions; But Jesus said, Not everyone that say Lord, Lord shall enter heaven, but they that DO the will of the Father ( Matt 7:21 )? Exactly, the work of God is to believe in the Lord Jesus to be saved ( Jn 6:29; Rom 10:9-10; Eph 2:8-9 ); Then AFTER saved, he has a good life for you here ( Rom 12:1-2 );
Ask yourself this question- If you knew Jesus would return in a year, what would you change about your lifestyle? If your answer is nothing, you are headed in the right direction! You should live a life of seeking God, like there is no time for goofing off!
Difference between we all still sin, and a struggling believer? Since we all still sin, and are growing ( 1 Jn 1:8,10 ), what God wants is to not be in bondage, a slave, let’s sin reign in you ( Rom 6:1-14 ), that’s a huge difference; When notice error, be ready, right away to revenge disobedience ( 2 Cor 10:6 ); Commandments are for OUR good ( Deut 10:13 ), Love God, and neighbors as self, are commands that cover life ( Mk 12:30-31 ); All things are lawful for you, but are they edifying, and don’t be put under bondage to nothing, even edifying things ( 1 Cor 6:12; 10:23 );
When God put this message together, according to scripture, he was optimistic about a person with his life, and this world’s life side by side, WHO WOULD NOT WANT HIS LIFE! Sick, or healed, poor, or rich, depressed, or peace, etc;
Problem with people, that are born again struggling, is unrenewing mind ( Rom 12:1-2 ), not mixed with faith ( Heb 4:2 ); They don’t understand grace, because grace TEACHES, you to deny ungodliness, worldly lust, etc, and how to live godly in THIS world ( Titus 2:12-12 ); Responsibility of salvation is described by Paul, why we shouldn’t do what we want in ( Rom 6 );
