• ( James )- Jesus brother ( Gal 1:19; Acts 15:13 ), most likely author, reflects faith without works is dead,  horizontal relationships; what you believe will reflect how you act! highlights- ( James 1 )- Doer of word; ( James 1:2 )- joy in tribulation, cause know just chance to work word; ( James 1:3-4 )- trying of faith work patience ( of word ); ( James 1:5-6 )- lack wisdom, ask God in faith; ( James 1:-7-8 )-  ask wavering, tossed like wave, double minded, unstable in ways; ( James 1:14-16 )- God does not tempt with evil, own lust brings sin; ( James 1:17 )- every good, perfect gift from God; ( James 1:21-25 )- look into law of liberty, continue, be doer of word, not hearer only; ( James 2:8 )- love neighbors as self, royal rule, you do well; ( James 2 )- Faith without works is dead; ( James 2:10 )- offend at one point of law, guilty of all; ( James 2:14-26 )- faith without works is dead, being alone, or only; ( James 3 )- Control tongue, control body; ( James 3: 2-10 )- Your mouth can bridle your body, set course of nature, life; ( James 3: 14-16 )- envy, bitterness, strife, is earthly, carnal, devilish; ( James 4 )- Draw near to God; ( James 4:3 )- ask, receive not, because ask amiss; ( James 4:4 )- friendship with world, enemy with God; ( James 4:7 )- submit to God, resist devil, he flees; ( James 5 )-  Effectual fervent prayer;  ( James 5:13 )- afflicted, pray; ( James 5:14-15 )- if sick call elders of church, if you don’t know, or haven’t learn how to receive from God; ( James 5:16 )- effectual fervent prayer avail much;
